rising to the rank of talon should've been enough. with a small army of assassin's at his beck and call, viago was more powerful than the king. but the harder he worked, the more resentful he became of his half-siblings, who knew nothing of ruling or tactics. the knowledge that, if given a chance, he could restore strength to the crown dogged him- leaving a hole that no contract or coin could fill.
